What's does the Resource Center offer?
An on-line database is available to review all of the resources cataloged and shelved in the Resource Center Library located in the Presbytery Office, Dresden, NY. To access the search site, click-on the Link "Resource Center Search/Check-out".
Program resources, designed to help you learn and teach the Word of God, are available in many formats-books, magazines, music, video, audio, CD-ROM, and DVD. Any member of the Presbytery of Geneva is welcome to use the Resource Center.
How do I get resources?
You can stop in at the Center, browse the stacks or use the resource center computer station to view available resources. On-line searches are available by author, title, and subject. If you are unable to utilize the computer to check-out a resource, you may fill-out a "check-out" slip and leave it on the Resource Center desk in the "check-out" box. A "checked-out" resource may be kept for up to three weeks - special provisions are available for extended time. Resources for every age group, from pre-school to adults, are available for use, in printed, video and audio format. There is no charge for using a resource. Contact the Presbytery Office (315-536-7752) for details on mailing options & applicable costs.
Who operates the Resource Center?
The Resource Center Committee and volunteers currently are responsible for operation of the center. If you would like to volunteer to assist with its operation or recommend new purchases please e-mail the Resource Committee (resctr@presbyteryofgeneva.org). |
